Nitto Auto Enthusiast Day 2015 Recap

Anaheim, CA — Turbosmart USA spent Saturday August 1, 2015 at Angel Stadium celebrating the 3rd Annual Nitto Auto Enthusiast Day. Jam packed with over 8000 visitors, a reported 300 show cars, and drift demos left and right, it was definitely a good time!

The essence of Nitto Auto Enthusiast Day is about the pure joy that we have for cars throughout the world– the event itself included a strong showing from every segment, from domestic to JDM, drift to off-road to motorcycles. The heat of the day didn’t stop anyone from enjoying the event!

Team Turbosmart’s Mad Mike Whiddett hit the skidpan in his Radbull Miata for a drift demo. That screaming rotary left everyone speechless, and Mad Mike certainly knows how to entertain a crowd.

Can you guess how many Turbosmart wastegates Mad Mike has in the Radbul? (Hint: if you know how many rotors it has, then you know!)

Our Turbosmart stall was a popular destination on the day. We had a ton of visitors coming by to say hi, pick up some stickers and see Eddie Zapata’s Turbosmart-equipped supercharged Mustang.

Our giveaways are always popular, and for good reason! One lucky attendee would take home a brand new CompGate40 wastegate for their own car. The winner was Jaff (@wasubie), whose awesome widebody WRX won the Best Wagon category of the show!

Thanks to everyone who came past to check out our products, there was some great enthusiasm for Turbosmart products, which we like to see!

Also, big thanks to Nitto for putting on a warm welcome to all of us– we hope to be back again next year! We also want to thank Stillen and Road Race Engineering for their continued support of the Turbosmart brand!
