Project Blackout gets some boost

When AmericanMuscle.com set out to build the “Ultimate Street Car” they knew it had to go hard, stop hard and handle well. Not surprisingly, they’ve started with a tried and proven, not to mention very popular, Ford Mustang.

Dubbed “Project Blackout”, the 2012 Mustang GT has been fitted with Hellion’s “Eliminator” single turbo kit, featuring Turbosmart external wastegate.

With a Boss 302 intake manifold and Ford Racing 90mm throttle body the car managed to produce 658hp at the rear wheels and laid down a 11.07sec@125mph quarter mile!
