With the World Time Attack Challenge only five weeks away, we took our long-term project car to the Eastern Creek International Raceway to fine tune the suspension, brakes and address any problems that arise under race conditions.
“It’s a great opportunity to test the endurance of our products,” said Turbosmart’s CEO – Nic Cooper, “we using our fuel pressure regulators, wastegates, BOVs, boost controllers and silicone hoses on that car.”
The car has been entered in the ultra-competitive Open Class and will be up against a field of late modelEVOs, GT-Rs and WRXs.
Nic Cooper is confident the car has what it takes to keep up with the front-runners. “The car is deceptively quick. We still need to sort out the suspension and fine-tune it to the Eastern Creek track. It’s going to be a very busy five weeks for us.”
World Time Attack Challenge is on May 21-22 at Eastern Creek International Raceway.
Turbosmart is a proud sponsor of the World Time Attack Challenge.
