Team Pro-Duct has just returned from Phillip Island for the Australian Manufacturing Championship Great Southern 4HR for Production Touring Cars. It was a very cold and windy weekend, but fortunately the rain stayed away for race day. Straight out of the box the Turbosmart-equipped Evo X was strong and fast, finishing at the top of the time sheets. During qualifying the rain was patchy and team qualified third on the grid. After a great start, the team then set into their race strategy, which as the race went on, afforded the team a lead of 1min 20 sec, until a safety car towards the end cut our lead down to 10 seconds. After the restart veteran driver Glenn Seton pushed on, with the time gap changing up to the last lap. On the final lap, the time gap was only 1.1 seconds, but by the chequered flag the team was still in front giving the, a fantastic win for the second year in a row!
