Turbosmart has once again been selected as a finalist for the Premier of NSW’s Export Awards, this time in the Manufacturing category. Turbosmart won the Small Business category in last year’s awards, so to be selected as a finalist in the larger Manufacturing category is a huge achievement.
The Export Council received the largest ever number of applicants in the awards’ 53 -year history, so competition is stronger than ever. Only 85 companies across all categories were selected, including only four in manufacturing – so to be selected as a finalist is a significant achievement in itself.
The Chief Executive Officer for the Export Council of Australia, said “the competition is extremely tough and we wanted to make sure all finalists were recognised for their tremendous efforts.”
Turbosmart design, manufacture and assemble all products at their Wetherill Park facility in Western Sydney, and export around the world. Turbosmart was founded in Sydney in 1997, and now has offices in the USA and UK.
The awards ceremony will be held on 28 October at the Star Casino in Sydney.
