Snowy weather, freezing temperatures, and a little bit of sleep deprivation couldn’t keep Turbosmart away from famed US racing hub Indianapolis last week, for the 2013 Performance Race Industry show. We’re so glad we made it, because the huge turnout made it absolutely worth the struggle.
Tuesday morning saw Turbosmart Team Members arrive at Fleece Performance Engineering‘s homebase, just outside Indianapolis in the famed “Nitro Alley” (a hub of major drag racing kingpins like Force, Pedregon, and Shumacher Racing). We drove through the area in awe on our way to Fleece’s Diesel University, where we said hi to attendees, and talked a bit about diesel boost control.
The next day, we were up bright early, as Turbosmart Production Manager Stewart was needed to impart more boost control wisdom as part of the MPMC Education Day on Wednesday, December 11. Stewart led the attendees through the “Basics of Turbocharging and Boost Control.”
Presentation attendees were so excited to learn, the room was starting to fill up well before the session had even started.
PRI is a great place to release new products, and we didn’t want to disappoint, so we brought out the big guns with our new products for 2014. including the game changing valve travel sensor cap for the Pro-Gate50 and Power-Gate60, a brand new 120PSI capable eBoost2, a new high PSI version of our popular IWG75, and the very exciting Golf R Dual Port blow off valve.
Over the course of the three day show, we struck up tons of conversations with other automotive enthusiasts, and cemented some great relationships to make Turbosmart products more available than ever before.
Turn 14 was announced as Turbosmart’s Warehouse Distributor of the Year for 2013.
Thank you to all of the visitors that stopped by during the show; we look forward to seeing you all out at SEMA and PRI 2014!It seemed the Turbosmart booth was always busy… especially around beer time!
