Winners are Grinners


2014-EA-logo-WIN-Small-BusinessWe are extremely happy to announce Turbosmart has won the New South Wales Premier’s Export Award in the category of Small Business. Deputy Premier and Minister for Trade and Investment Troy Grant congratulated Turbosmart and this year’s other winners of the Premier’s NSW Export Award, saying “These winners are outstanding examples of some of our State’s most innovative businesses, who are successfully competing in the global marketplace and showing the world the high quality goods and services NSW produces.”

IMG_8099eIn his acceptance speech, Turbosmart CEO Nic Cooper gave special thanks to the Turbosmart team, some of whom have working at the company for up to 18 years,  saying “Nothing great happens without great people. I cannot thank my team enough”.

This is award is major recognition for manufacturing within Australia. Turbosmart is a true Australian exporter, that proudly continues to design, machine, and hand-assemble our products right here in our Sydney factory.

Lisa McAuley, COO of the Export Council of Australia also congratulated Turbosmart, saying “On behalf of the Export Council of Australia, I would like to congratulate Turbosmart, the winner of the Small Business Award at the 2014 Premier’s NSW Export Awards. Turbosmart were selected from a strong group of finalists who are doing exceptional things in International business. They have shown perseverance and tenacity, and we are excited to see them develop in years to come. The 52nd NSW Export Awards winners all deserve our highest praise, and heartfelt thanks.”
