AFTERMARKET TUNING

BlackTrack Performance specialises in aftermarket tuning for drag, drift and street applications. Our workshop is equipped with an in house Mainline Hub Dyno (Dynamometer). Owner and operator Justin Gregory is our only tuner with over 18 years of tuning experience to ensure quality & peace of mind. Every tune we offer is custom to the vehicle, with no generic tuning available. We offer aftermarket tuning through the following applications: Microtech, Haltech, Autronic, EMS, Apexi Power FC, Adaptronic, SCT, Blackbox, Link, VCM suite & PCMtec.

 

REBUILDS FABRICATION & UPGRADES

We build full race cars, offer in-house fabrication and auto electrics, carry out turbo upgrades, engine rebuilds, fuel systems, cooling system upgrades, aftermarket ECU installs, and transmission upgrades.

We predominately work on Jap imports/ Late-model vehicles, with a large part of our business being 2j’s, RBs, Rotaries, Barras / XR6Ts. We do the occasional LS and are always happy to service performance-enhanced vehicles.

 

RACING & TRACKSIDE SUPPORT

We have over 20 years of experience within the race industry & pride ourselves on good genuine customer service.

Our customer base expands from Sydney to the North Coast of Australia.

We offer trackside support for customers that compete in drag, drift & circuit racing events in Sydney, Queensland and South Australia.

Our workshop is based on the east coast of Australia in a suburb called Cardiff, which is 15 minutes from the heart of Newcastle.

Lamspeed Racing was established in 2012 after our Mitsubishi Evo 8 performed relatively well in some high profiled race meets, placing 1st in the Yokohama Advan Neova Cup and 2nd outright at the Evolution Nationals.

 

Whilst we started out specialising in Mitsubishi Lancer Evolutions, we now cater to a broader selection of makes and models due to our commitment to supporting the Brands and Suppliers with which we are associated, such as Kelford Cams, Hypertune, Extreme Turbo Systems, Elig and HARD RACE.

 

Providing Value to our clients is our primary objective. The range of products we choose to sell are ones that we have tested both on the track and the street. MTQ Engine Systems offers a wide range of Turbochargers & Diesel Fuel Injection Products & Services through our Comprehensive National Branch Network.

  • MTQ Engine Systems began its life in Australia as a Dynamic Turbochargers company in 1970.
  • Dynamic Turbochargers expanded in size in the following years due to its commitment to the highest quality products & services. In 1999 became a subsidiary of Metalock (Singapore) Limited, which was now listed on the Stock Exchange Mainboard.
  • In 2002 Metalock (Singapore) acquired RM Diesel and Turbo Torque which prompted a united corporate name, MTQ Engine Systems (Australia) Pty Ltd.
  • In 2003, Metalock (Singapore) was renamed MTQ Corporation Ltd and expanded with two more new businesses becoming MTQ Engine Systems branches. These were Adelaide Fuel Injection (AFI) and BJ Diesel, which have been in business since 1984 & 1976.
  • In 2009 MTQ Engine Systems launched the ‘Bosch Superstore’, a joint venture between MTQ & Bosch to provide the full Bosch/PBR range to the automotive aftermarket.
  • In 2010 the company expanded even further with the acquisition of Premier Fuel Injection in Darwin, Highway Diesel Services in Brisbane, All States Diesel in Brisbane and Walz Diesel in Sydney.
  • In 2011 MTQ Engine Systems Australia was appointed as the Australasian service agent and distributor for L’Orange to support the large diesel fuel injection market.
  • In 2016 MTQ Engine Systems was acquired by Bapcor Limited.
