TURBOSMART SUPPORT & WARRANTY
Turbsomart is an Australian Manufacturer of Performance Parts, distributed globally via our wholly-owned subsidiaries. This ultimately means that regulations govern and protect consumers in each of these regions, which we adhere to as a manufacturer. At a fundamental level, Turbosmart will warrant any faulty Turbosmart product for a minimum of 12 months from the date of purchase or the legal minimum (whichever is greater) based on the region of sales. This is outlined below under the heading ‘ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY!’. Equally, each of our subsidiaries has region-specific terms of trade, which you can request from a Turbosmart Team member at any time.
Further to our company’s statutory trade obligations, we also have what we like to call the ‘TURBOSMART FAIR GO POLICY’, which is also detailed below. Turbsomart is built on customer satisfaction and service. To this end, we have developed a series of public and internal policies for helping our customers even when their situation is outside the guidelines of any statutory warranty. We are here to help! Turbosmart’s several locations around the world mean we have people in your time zone that can help. Further to these subsidiaries in place to support our brand, we spend great amounts of time with our distributors and dealers to make sure they can help you too. So, it’s important to point out that you should contact them first if you purchased your Turbosmart product via a dealer. You already have an established relationship with them, and they will be more familiar with your purchase and application, so they should be able to help even faster than we can!
On the other hand, if you purchased directly from Turbosmart via our website, or are struggling to get the info you need from your dealer, then we are only too happy to help! We take the customer journey and experience seriously and, with that, will do what we can to get to the bottom of your issues as quickly and efficiently as we can! There is a contact form on the ‘Contact Us’ page where you can create a ticket, and we have people in all Turbosmart locations on the lookout for these, so it shouldn’t take too long to get back to you.
ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY!
The Turbosmart brand is built on innovation and a passion for engineering and winning. It’s no coincidence our tagline is Engineered to Win! While we provide a warranty, it’s important to know what we do to make sure we don’t let customers down in the first place. Every one of our products shipped from our head office in Sydney is hand-tested by one of our trained technicians before it is put in a box. Not one in one hundred or even one in ten: Every single one. For some products, that means a simple power-up or cycle, and for others, it means a vacuum or pressure test. This makes sure that by the time it is in a box on the way to you, it will do exactly what we promise it will! With that said, sometimes, things happen, and we will stand by that promise and will make good on our side of the deal as quickly as we can. Here is the ‘fine print’.
Terms of Warranty, Service and Returns are as follows:
Turbosmart warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and if correctly installed for a period of one year from the date of purchase. If found to be defective, it will be replaced or repaired once returned to us along with dated proof of purchase. This shall constitute the sole remedy of the purchaser and the sole liability of Turbosmart to the extent permitted by law; the foregoing is exclusive and instead of all other warranties or representations whether expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness. In no event shall Turbosmart be liable for special or consequential damages. This warranty is only valid on products purchased from Turbosmart Authorized Dealers.

If you believe an item is faulty, it will be necessary to return it to us with a completed Warranty Form and Return Authorization Number (obtained by calling our office) attached. More importantly, if there is a major failure with the item, you may choose a refund (limited to direct customers of / transactions with Turbosmart), exchange, or repair. If the failure is minor, we will repair the item (or, at our discretion, we may replace the item) within a reasonable time.
When an item is damaged through misuse or abnormal use, Turbosmart cannot provide a refund or exchange. or repair.
Turbosmart will require satisfactory proof of purchase before providing a remedy.
Change of Mind
If you have changed your mind and you can provide a valid receipt. Turbosmart may offer you an exchange provided that the merchandise (limited to direct customers of / transactions with Turbosmart);
- It is in saleable condition
- It is unused with all original packaging
- The exchange is sought within 30 days of purchase
If you cannot provide a valid receipt and/or 30 days has passed since the original purchase date, Turbosmart, at its absolute discretion, reserves the right not to offer an exchange for a change of mind. Turbosmart will not reimburse freight charges incurred on a change of mind exchange.
It is important to note that Turbosmart is not required to provide you with a copy of your original receipt to facilitate an exchange, refund, insurance, or warranty claim.
After the warranty period has expired, our repair service is charged based on a minimum and maximum charge rate. (Contact Customer Service for current rate).
TURBOSMART FAIR-GO POLICY
Turbosmart guarantees all products, in line with our requirements in each region of the world we trade. The Turbosmart Fair Go Policy, however, is something different. This is something more. Fair Go is a bit of an Aussie-ism and basically means to act with more fairness or reason. That’s where Turbosmart has put some policies in place to help with the grey area that sits between the black and white of T&C’s, contracts and statutory obligations.
